I was fighting to make “base camp” work in Guatemala when this song hit the airwaves. Black Eyed Peas I’ve got a Feeling truly defines a most unforgettable part of my experience in Guatemala, especially with a tremendously close-knit group of friends I had while there. I cling to this song for so many of the rich memories that I take from my time in Guate. There is already so much pure emotion in the song… and for me, so much more even.
One of those whom I speak of sent this video to me today. I must admit, I’ve been feeling down. Always the over-achiever… it has been a struggle to make something happen here in the States now that I’m back.
So, this video couldn’t have come at a better time from precisely the right person:
