Things are getting crazy here in Central America. Here’s a quick recap:
A few weeks ago, a high-profile lawyer was murdered in Guatemala. A video of him, made just days before, was discovered. In the video the lawyer professed that if he was found dead, the Guatemalan President would be the man behind his murder.
Today, Honduran President Manuel Zeleya was arrested and exiled by the Honduran government.
Today, Hugo Chavez threatens military action in Honduras.
Average deaths/murders in Guatemala: 17 per day.
