Well, not quite live. But, Jay Liebenguth is featuring the live interview he did with me today on his radio show, Live With Jay, later this month. Who is Jay you ask? Read his bio:
Jay Liebenguth is a business journalist focused on gaining insights from talking with many of the area’s business leaders and sharing their stories with his audience. He produces and hosts two radio shows each week to introduce you to some of the rising stars in the business community and to expose you to new and proven concepts from people who have “been there, done that.” His format provides visibility, credibility, and direct “why to buy” publicity for his guests. He interviews over 250 people per year, most in a live, unedited setting.
Jay grew up in St. Louis, got a degree in Business & Broadcasting from Northwest Missouri State and has stints as an entrepreneur, at ad agencies, and for radio and television stations in sales and production. He writes a daily blog that features his perspectives on business and some of the stories that are told “off air.”
Jay’s companies, Golden Image Communications and Fresh Media Lab, are focused on helping businesses with a variety of new and unique methods of enhancing their visibility among potential investors, customers and their vendor and employee partners.
My interview with Jay will air August 14th on Hot Talk KCTE-1510 in Kansas City, MO. Jay and I simply talked a little bit about my crazy, backpacker lifestyle, my work with ZimmComm New Media and a bit about my adventures with Couchsurfing. Pretty darn cool!
Jay and I are also working on getting a monthly column/post going on his website about my travels and the people I meet while wandering the world. Even more cool!
Be sure to check out Jay’s site! He features all kinds of amazing people on shows. You can also access his website through the permanent link under “Clients” to the right.
I have to give a shout to my man who put Jay and I together. Brad Elpers is my Scooter’s coffee house hangout buddy. Then again, everyone is Brad’s buddy at Scooter’s. Brad is one the biggest socialites of all time. He makes a point to not just know everyone, but know their unique talents and gifts so he can brag about them to everyone else. Brad has a spirit that inspires and enlivens. I can honestly say I’ve become a better person just through knowing him, sharing in his enthusiasm and following his example.
Just like Jay and I, Brad is quite the entrepreneur. He and his partner own their own branding company, Big Guy Little Guy. If you need to brand your idea or product, be sure to use Brad!
