Breaking Free…

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matt 6:19-21)

I stayed up late last night enthusiastically hunting down “stuff” hiding away in my room, cluttering up my space and my head. It’s the third time I’ve done it since I’ve been back. This last “purge” was a good one. I was able to sell 20 articles of clothing and shoes for $60.00 at Plato’s Closet (wow, a whole $3 a pop… and that included a BeBe dress – those are expensive!). The rest of the goods went to Goodwill.

I’m just glad it’s all out of my possession and other people will get to use them!
